i think we all have that one piece of media we like that’s basically “i love this thing, but i dont think everyone should watch this thing and would not categorically recommend it to other people i know, this thing has a lot of problems and i am the first person you should ask if you want to know a long list of criticisms, but i REALLY ENJOY THIS THING” its like holding up a can of trash to everyone else and saying ”you are a reasonable person and you would not enjoy touching this garbage and i value that about you” and then pouring it out on the ground and rolling around in it yourself

things ppl say that alerts you to them being the actual worst:

  • john was my favourite beatle
  • abolishing religion would solve a lot of problems
  • i’m not a racist i hate all races equally
  • disliking someone because of their political affiliation is ridiculous
  • but if you think about it stereotypes do exist for a reason
  • god, can you believe people on welfare own iphones
  • but what about mens rights
  • why can’t white people say the n-word
  • i’m just being the devils advocate

As a Japanese person who was born and spent most of my childhood in Japan, I hate seeing people say that the Sailor Senshi are white or “look white”. They are Japanese girls, and saying that they were drawn to look Japanese, not white. Please stop dismissing my race so casually. While I agree that there should be more dark skinned characters, the Sailor Senshi are not, and have never been white.

Being fat and happy is fun because it makes people angry. Two things I love - doing of the opposite of what people want and pissing them off.

Especially by black and Latino folk

Y’all know she is the only female that makes covers of magazines almost 50 years since she’s been dead..

Living black actresses don’t even get that love

And Dorothy Dandridge served way better than she ever could

Damn whiteness

alla this.
