I’m seriously crying I love every last one of you to death.
I have this…troll. Who is a blatant and outspoken Romione shipper. It’s almost violent, the intensity with which this person ships Romione. Romione is my least favorite couple. I have never written it. I don’t write Ron with anyone—I don’t write Ron in general—because I hate him.
And this troll comes on every smutty fic I write with Hermione—I’m talking clearly marked fics that are so obviously not Romione—and talks about how bad they are because Hermione is not with Ron.
This person actually said to me once that if Harry and Hermione (who are not my OTP but I wrote about them once) were going to be such terrible friends then Harry can just drown in the pond and Hermione can be “raped and murdered by Voldemort and his Death Eaters”. They also told me that imagining that Draco was Ron while reading my story was the only thing that made it coherent.
This person is my favorite person on the whole internet. They are just so ridiculous. I want them to comment on every single thing I write, forever.
Yeah, because when I love someone I totally act like a jealous, whiny little bitch and abandon that person. Hermione begged him to take the locket off and stay. He didn’t. His self-centered feelings of jealousy and being betrayed were more important than anything else—his friends, the war, the mission at hand, everything.
The romanticizing of Ron’s actions is so fucking disturbing to me and I just cannot forgive JKR for telling people, yes, this is how relationships should be, it’s okay for your significant other to treat you this way, this is what true love looks like. That is not love. Jealousy is not love. Abandonment is not love.
