The blog “nativeamericanhallofshame” is a blog full of snobbery and think they have some sort of authority to police Tumblr and judge people that they don’t even know. I’m not racist, or ignorant, but this blog has decided that I am, because of course they just know me that well.

See, here’s the thing though—I don’t need to know you personally to know you have automatic, internalized prejudices. If you do something racist and put it on Tumblr, people can see that it’s racist and then call you on it.

Also, like seriously, you want to be coddled like a child? No. POC don’t owe you shit—they deal with racism every single day and it’s not their responsibility to sit down and play Racism 101 with every asshole who comes their way. This is the internet. Google some shit. The whole “IF YOU WON’T EDUCATE ME HOW WILL I LEARN” shit is a total derail and all it does is distract from the ACTUAL issue (racism) and makes it all about the oppressor.

You wanna prove that you’re not racist (or trying not to be and are just severely mislead and ignorant)—do some damn research and stop trying to invalidate what POC tell you when they say you’re doing something racist. Because guess what? When you act like you’re more of an authority on what is and isn’t racism then people who experience racism every day you are being racist as shit. 

POC don’t owe you shit and it’s especially not their responsibility to hold your hand through a learning process that you can very easily go through by yourself.
